What we collect

If you contact us, request trade support, or join our mailing list, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, company, market, and message. Our hosting provider supplies approximate country, city, and province or region information based on the connection to the site. We use only that coarse location to suggest the age requirement and relevant retailer options. You can correct the suggested location manually without sharing your device location.

If you choose “Use my location” in the country/province selector and allow your browser’s permission request, your device sends its current coordinates directly to BigDataCloud to identify your country and province. BigDataCloud also receives your network IP and uses anonymized coordinate/IP pairings to improve its geolocation data. Siempre does not receive or store those coordinates; only the resulting country/province is used as your location preference. This optional service is not called automatically. See BigDataCloud’s privacy policy. You can decline permission and choose a province instead.

The LCBO store finder has a separate “Use my location” control. It calculates store distances inside your browser without sending precise coordinates to Siempre or a geocoding service, and does not save them to browser storage. If you have already granted location permission, the finder can use it automatically to show nearby stores. You can also search by city without granting permission.

Canadian retailer options link to retailer services. Where available, we retrieve public store quantities on our server and cache them briefly; the city filter runs in your browser and is not sent to the retailer by this site. The US store finder is provided by PourNow and may request location access if you choose to use its location-based store search. Retailers and finder providers apply their own privacy policies.

How we use it

We use submitted information to reply to you, route distributor or press requests, send updates you asked for, improve the site, and meet legal obligations around alcohol marketing and responsible communications.

The newsletter form submits a subscription request to the Siempre team after you confirm legal drinking age and request brand updates. It does not silently add your address to a mailing list from this site.

Cookies, analytics, and retention

The site may use basic cookies, local storage, server logs, and analytics or commerce tooling to remember age-gate confirmation and a location correction, keep a cart or inquiry flow working, measure page performance, and protect against abuse. We keep submitted information only as long as needed for the reason it was provided, unless law or business record requirements require a longer period.

Age confirmation and manual country/province choices are saved in this browser for up to 30 days. A different viewing jurisdiction requires a fresh age confirmation. Clearing site storage removes these preferences. A retailer shipping destination does not change the legal age that applies where you are viewing from.

Third-party services

This site may use third-party services for hosting, retailer lookup, journal content, merchandise, email delivery, analytics, and social content you choose to open off-site. Their own privacy practices apply when you use those services. Those providers may process information in the United States, Canada, or other countries where they or their vendors operate.

Alcohol audience and minors

This site is intended only for people of legal drinking age in their location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

Your choices

You can choose not to submit forms, decline location access, reject optional browser permissions, and unsubscribe from marketing emails. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or opt-out of certain sharing.
